Mark Ellis is a producer, songwriter and musician signed to publisher's BMG Music. Throughout his 20 years in the music industry, Mark has written, performed, toured and shared line ups with the likes of Athele, Grant Nicholas (Feeder), KT Tunstall, Coolio, Roy Wood, 10CC, Boo Hewerdine and many more.

As a multi instrumentalist, Mark is renowned for his playing and ear for the perfect arrangement, no matter the style.

 

As a songwriter and producer, Mark was signed to BMG Music in 2017. This came as a result of the success of 'Dreamland', a record written and recorded as part of successful band, Elma.

To date, Mark has had over 30 songs published and is always working on something new.

His work has been played on BBC Introducing, BBC Scotland and BBC 6 Music along with a whole host of local radio stations.

His work with BMG Music has also enabled him to conduct writing and recording sessions at their Tileyard studio in London, where he learned a lot about the production process.

Currently working from his home studio The Oxgang in Edinburgh, Scotland (with his cat, Cuomo), Mark works both in person and remotely, arranging online meetings ahead of any recording to make sure he gets the very best results for your tracks! Mark works with mainly solo artists as well as having access to a full band space should it be required.
